Suzanne Africa Engo speaks with Oprah Winfrey – “Mission Complete”

5:30am. Monday, 17 November 2008 –

(If you have read the last blog entry then you know I have traveled from San Francisco to the windy city of Chicago, Illinois.)

Although it’s 19 degrees outside in Lincoln Park, Chicago, I rise from the air mattress. And, I prepare myself to greet, applaud, and congratulate, Suzanne Africa Engo for completing her 1,000 mile run in the fight against the AIDS pandemic.

Question: Is Harpo Studios & Oprah Winfrey aware that (presently)Suzanne Africa Engo is running from United Nations, New York directly to Harpo Studios, Chicago Illinois?

Answer: YES!

48 hours ago, Harpo Studios contacted Suzanne Africa Engo. They inform Suzanne & Ruth Engo (her mother who traveled from Africa to be here) that they have been invited to “sit in” on the filming of the Oprah Winfrey Show … …..

Question: Will Suzanne get an opportunity to thank Oprah ?

1. For Oprah’s commitment in the fight against the AIDS Pandemic.
2. For Oprah’s Life Diet (which Suzanne used to loose 100lbs in preparation for this 1,000 mile journey).
3. For Oprah’s commitment to President Elect, Barack Hussein Obama.

Answer: YES!

7:00 am Monday, 17 November 2008 –

Suzanne Africa Engo completes her 1.000 mile trek to Harpo Studios. And then, Suzanne, Ruth, and myself meet up for our morning coffee and brief Suzanne Africa Engo for the best of all possible worlds – “spending her birthday morning by attending the Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Question: So did Suzanne Africa Engo sit through the whole taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show without saying a word?

Answer: Yes

Upon arriving at Harpo Studios, Suzanne & Ruth Engo were greeted by Harpo Productions and placed in the “reserved” seating section of the film studio. And not knowing what to expect, Suzanne & Ruth Engo set patiently and watched throughout the entire filming of the show.

And then, Oprah Winfrey asked, “Who is Suzanne Africa Engo?”

Upon hearing her name called, Suzanne internally experienced “Pho – prah” (a phobic disorder). Yet Suzanne stood up and proceeded to the stage. Pictures were taken & thanks were made. ..

I’ll let Suzanne Africa Engo tell you the rest ……

WOW!

Question: “Where do we go from here?”
Answer: “Wherever we can be of service .. .. . . . .”
