Q. What do you think is the world’s greatest asset?
A. I’m not sure about the world. But,in terms of humanity, it’s our ability for collective action.

Q. If you could make one wish for humanity what would it be?
A. For everyone to be able to empathize with the plight of others …Volunteering is a great way for that to happen.

Q. How has the AIDS/HIV Panademic affected you?
A. It has made me understand how prejudice,sexism, and racism can hamper the health of all …

Q. How many years have you participated in the San Francisco AIDS Walk?
A. I began in high school (1985) with the AIDS Dance-a-thons ..and haven’t stopped. Now, I work for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Q. Have you participated in any other AIDS related charity events? (If so, what? And, how many?)
A. AIDS Marathons, 3 California AIDS Rides, and 1 AIDS Life Cycle Event as a participant, volunteer, and staff person.

Q. If you had one thing to say to the world, what would it be?
A. To help people is to know yourself.

Q. If you had one thing to say to Oprah Winfrey, what would it be?
A. You are an extraordinary person. I am glad you have the noteriety to bring focus to good causes .. I think your involvement would make a big difference to our foundation.

Q. If you had one thing to say to Lance Armstrong, what would it be?
A. Baby Got Legs?!?
