Karma Yoga<\/span><\/b><\/a> consists of selfless service, in which the ego is given up to the desire to serve God in everthing, be it man, animal or plant.<\/p>\n

Karma Yoga is also the path of doing the right thing, of following one’s personal Dharma<\/span><\/a> and accepting destiny as it comes. If the Karma Yogi is a householder, he will accept that role as much as he would accept the role of a servant to any in need, without seeking any remuneration in the shape of wealth, satisfaction,name or fame.”<\/p>\n

Throughout his years of public service, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. encouraged everyone to participate in community service.<\/p>\n

“If you want to be important, wonderful.
If you want to be recongnized, wonderful.
If you want to be great, wonderful.
But recognize that, he who is greatest among you shall be a servant.
That’s the new definition of greatness.
And this morning, the thing that I like about it.
By giving that definition of greatness,it means that everbody can be great.
Because everybody can serve.
You don’t have to have a college degree to serve.
You don’t have to have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.
You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve.
You don’t have to know Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” to serve.
You don’t have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace,
A soul generated by love,
And you can be that servant.”<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
