Invented by Herta Hower in 1949 during food shortages of the time, it soon became immensely popular with all Berliners. She patented in 1951. The ketchup secret formula includes ginger, cumin, cinnamon, cardamon and a variety of exotic peppers. People still come here from all over Berlin for this legendary smoked pork sausage.&#8221; &#8211; Julia Grimpe<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.curry36.de\/\" target=\"blank\" title=\"Curry 36 - Berlin, Germany\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Curry-2036-169x300.jpg\" height=\"259\" width=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While walking home from my trip to Victoria Park, I overheard three English speaking women.  And as I listened, I heard one woman say to the others: &#8220;this place is famous for it&#8217;s Curry Wurst &amp; Pommes.&#8221;  Therefore, days later, Bruno Fritschy and I added <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curry36.de\/\">Curry 36<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/tom-hanks-meet-suzanne-africa-engo\/\">Berlin Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.curry36.de\/\" target=\"blank\" title=\"Curry 36 - Berlin, Germany\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Curry-2036-20Berlin-169x300.jpg\" height=\"259\" width=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And after polishing of our second curry wurst, we agreed: &#8220;when we retire &amp; get married, we will be having our wedding ceremony here at Curry 36.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.schiphol.com\/\" target=\"blank\" title=\"Schiphol Airport - The Nederlands\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schiphol-300x225.jpg\" height=\"274\" width=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<h1>KLM &#8211; &#8220;The Royal Dutch Airlines&#8221;<\/h1>\n<p>For the past 25 years, flying to Spain, Morocco, France, Germany, Tokyo,  and Great Britain (to name a few), I have searched for the airlines who treats you in style.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;EUREKA &#8211; I THINK I FOUND IT!!!!!!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Walking past Delta, Lufthansa, Air France &amp; British Airways, I was greeted by the most attentive airlines in the sky, wearing &#8220;royal blue&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klm.com\/travel\/klm_splash\/splashpage.html\">KLM<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.klm.com\/travel\/klm_splash\/splashpage.html%20target=\" blank=\"\" title=\"KLM - \" the=\"\" royal=\"\" dutch=\"\" airlines=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/KLM-169x300.jpg\" height=\"390\" width=\"218\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To please the palate, on my transcontinental flight to Berlin with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7iu5OU-CgbE\">Delta Airlines<\/a>, I received:<\/p>\n<p>a.  A complimentary 4.5 ounce bag of peanuts.<br \/>b.  A can of Coke.<br \/>c.  Another complimentary 4.5 ounce bag of peanuts.<br \/>d.  A glass of orange juice.<\/p>\n<p><object height=\"172\" width=\"212\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CWO-ugSfR5Y&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CWO-ugSfR5Y&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" height=\"172\" width=\"212\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Yet when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klm.com\/travel\/us_en\/index_default.html\">KLM<\/a> rolled the carts down the isle, I received:<\/p>\n<p>a. A Complimentary Vegetarian Pasta Dinner<br \/>b.  Complimentary (after dinner), Cognac &amp; Coffee.<br \/>c.  A Complimentary Vegetarian Breakfast Quiche<br \/>d.  A Complimentary glass of orange juice<br \/>e.  A Complimentary cup of coffee<br \/>f.  A Complimentary snack before departing the plane.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/KLM-20Schiphol.jpg\" title=\"KLM - Schiphol\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/KLM-20Schiphol.jpg\" height=\"146\" width=\"259\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>KLM provided an EXCELLENT &#8220;old school&#8221; experience.<\/p>\n<p>a. No hidden extras.<br \/>b. Complimentary movie.<br \/>c. Complimentary drinks.<br \/>d. Bilingual \/ Trilingual Flight Attendants<br \/>e. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ritzcarlton.com\/en\/Default.htm\">Ritz Carlton<\/a> style service.<\/p>\n<p>My Hat is off to the &#8220;BEST AIRLINES IN THE AIR&#8221; &#8211; <span style=\"color:red;\">KLM &#8211; bedankt!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Atlanta-20Airport.jpg\" title=\"Hartsfield Jackson Airport - Atlanta, Georgia\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Atlanta-20Airport.jpg\" height=\"146\" width=\"259\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>Hartsfield Jackson Airport &#8211; Atlanta Georgia<\/h1>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paris-cdg.com\/\">Charles de Gaulle<\/a> only if you are &#8220;Ironman&#8221; fit &amp; want to go shopping in the finest of boutiques.<br \/>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfkiat.com\/\">John F. Kennedy<\/a> if you REALLY want to be confused.<br \/>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.schiphol.com\/\">Schiphol<\/a> for &#8220;eye candy,&#8221; fabulous signage, and great service.<br \/>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.berlin-airport.de\/EN\/index.html\">Tegel<\/a> if you want everything in &#8220;one terminal.&#8221;<br \/>Got to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atlanta-airport.com\/\">Hartsfield Jackson<\/a> if you want to make a few friends.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/Brew%20House%20-%20Atlanta.JPG\" title=\"Hartsfield Jackson Airport - Atlanta, Georgia\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/Brew%20House%20-%20Atlanta.JPG\" height=\"146\" width=\"259\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As part of my return flight from Berlin to San Francisco, I had a 3 hour lay over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atlanta-airport.com\/\">Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta  International Airport,<\/a>   And being that I love studying airport designs, I ventured out (on 1 hours sleep) to take a look.  And then, I heard people &#8220;laughing.&#8221;  So, I followed the sound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hartsfield-20Jackson-20Airport.jpg\" title=\"Hartsfield Jackson Airport - Atlanta, Georgia\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ynottony.com\/ynot\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hartsfield-20Jackson-20Airport.jpg\" height=\"221\" width=\"390\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Within 5 minutes,  I was intermingled amongst travelers from all parts of the universe. Sitting in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pubcrawler.com\/Template\/ReviewWC.cfm\/flat\/BrewerID=101273\">Brew House Atlanta<\/a>, on my right was a man going &#8220;fishing&#8221; (as part of his brother&#8217;s bachelor party) in Florida.  While the guy to my left (pictured above), he was going &#8220;fishing&#8221; in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Question:  What the hell was I doing?<br \/>Answer: Not fishing.
