With this year’s AIDSLifeCycle Event behind us, I have began to create more yoga classes & yoga events in the San Francisco Bay Area. Coming soon will be free outdoor yoga classes & my annual yoga studio tour. Yet for now, here’s the line up.

  • Discuss Basic Bike Fit & Body Alignment – Common Injuries & Prevention,
  • Do Proper Stretching Techniques ( yoga sequence for cyclist) provided for take home study).
  • Discuss Basic Nutrition for the Endurance Cyclist.
  • *Cyclist of all levels, and beginners are encouraged to attend.
  • AIDSLifeCycle Participants or San Francisco Bike Coalition members receive a 10% discount.

Join us the first Sunday of each month as Iyengar Yoga Teacher & road cyclist, tony eason shows us how Iyengar Yoga Classes can restore the structural alignment of the physical body, increase muscle flexibility and range of motion, reduce lower back pain, develop deep, relaxed breathing, improve balance, and therefore – enhance your athletic performance.

Tony Eason – a Graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco & 11th Yr. California AIDS Ride / AIDSLifeCycle Cyclist believes that athletes of all levels can benefit from the precision of Iyengar Yoga.

Yoga Teacher - Graduate Iyengar Yoga Institute - Tony Eason

Born in San Francisco, Iyengar Yoga Teacher, Tony Eason has been a student of Yoga for fifteen years.

As an endurance cyclist, Tony came to yoga for the benefits of stretching.

For five years he studied under Yoga Teacher Mary Friedland. Tony continued to develop his personal practice and teaching skills with the guidance of Yoga Teachers: Kathy Alef, Ben Thomas, Tommijean Thomas PhD, Jaki Nett, and Nora Burnett. He apprenticed under Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, Janet MacLeod.

He is a graduate of the Two-year Advanced Teacher Training Program of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco.

His classes are based on the traditions of B.K.S. Iyengar.

Through Hatha yoga classes, he teaches students to pay attention to the alignment of their bodies, to become aware of the breath, and to control the mind.

Presently, Tony teaches classes, seminars, and substitute teaches at: James Howell Studio, Club One, Gold’s Gym , and the San Francisco Tennis Club .

Cyclist, beginners, seasoned yoga students, and everyone else, are encouraged to attend his yoga classes.
