The Dark Room Theater

On Friday night, instead of joining the city’s peloton of bar crawl go’ers, I bee lined to the Mission District for “an evening of science-fiction themed comedy.

Upon arrival to the ticket counter, I was greeted with fanfare & “southern hospitality” from the most bubbly of women, Erin. And after a few laughs, I seated myself & awaited the show. And after wards, I could only say one thing – “Actor Richie Lillard not only made my eyebrow rise – he made me “LAUGH” (which isn’t the easiest thing to do …).

Richie Lillard – Dark Room Theater

Actor / Singer /Performer, Richie Lillard has been performing since he was ten years old in drama, musical theater, ballet and opera. And in the film industry, Richie has made appearances on television shows such as Sci-Fi Channels “Scare Tactics,” & NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” And has traveled London, Greece and Las Vegas, Nevada as a tribute artist of Freddie Mercury of Queen.

Richie Lillard is a set designer, interior designer, hair stylist, and costume designer. Sketch comedy is a perfect fit for Richie as it shows off his many talents (and voices) as a performer.

Definitely an actor to see; an experience you’ll never forget; and a local theater with “southern hospitality.”

See ya at the show …
