Tony’s 11th Annual AIDSLifecycle Kickoff – “Bike Ride – Fried Chicken & the New Belgium Brewery.”

Who would have ever thought that an adventure that started off as merely “something to tell the grand children” would bring me onto such a positive & life changing path?

From Chardonnay to cocaine to Shimano to Campanolo.
From Bianchi to Salsa to Soulcraft.
From 1 mile to 127 miles to 575 miles to 6325 miles to well over 32, 725 miles by bike.
From Start to Finish to Mike’s Bikes to Sport Basement & American Cyclery (Tyson Mitchell).
From 24hr Fitness to Gold’s Gym to Club One.
From newbie cyclist learning “yoga for cyclist” to Iyengar Yoga Teacher, Mary Friedland, to the Iyengar Yoga Institute to Janet McLeod to Iyengar Yoga Teacher, tony eason.

Well whether you are considering participating in AIDSLifeCycle 2008 /or/ just want to start the year off with a group of healthy individuals – Jump on board and do some training rides with us. We’ll be touring the Marin Headlines & return to my house for Bella Cucina Style Fried Chicken & Fat Tire Beer. . . .

• Miles: Approx. 23 miles Round trip.

• Time: 1:00pm – Bike Ride starts at: Duboce Park Cafe
• Lunch Time: Approx. 3:30pm. (directly after bike ride)
• Lunch Location: Tony’s House
  San Francisco , CA 94110

• Check out the beer portfolio of the New Belgium Brewery & bring one of their sweet 6 packs to the party (drop it off before hand and/or pick one up on your way back from the Headlands).
• Cyclist of all levels are encouraged to attend. No one will be left behind.

AIDSLifeCycle – 2008 – Official Kickoff Party

And if you thought of an excuse for not riding 23 miles with a group of diverse, good looking, healthy individuals – there’s always room for you the following day, 13 January 2008 at the Official AIDSLifeCycle Kick Off Party.

This is an event not to be missed. AIDSLifecycle will be raffling off thousand of dollars worth of cycling equipment, gift certificates and 8 road bikes! (You must be present to win.) Several Bay Area restaurants and caterers will be providing delicious Hors D’oeuvres . And while at the party, if you decide to register to participate as a cyclist /or roadie volunteer – AIDSLifecycle will give you a discount of $20 off the registration fee, and a blue AIDSLifeCycle cinch sack.
